Players are component programs that work with your browser to decode and play special media. Sometimes players are included with your browser or operating system, otherwise they must be downloaded separately.

In either case, players should be updated periodically as new versions become available. Take a few minutes to update your players and insure that you won't be missing anything while you surf the internet.
