BRUNCH FRENCH TOAST Category: Brunch
A custard like french toast.
Meal Time: Breakfast Prep. Time: :10 hours Servings: 6
Ingredients:
9 Large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tablesp. maple syrup
3 cups milk
6 slices bread,crust cut off
3 tablesp. butter,melted
1 teasp.vanilla



Directions:
In a large bowl, beat eggs and then add rest of ingredients. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Put the filled pan into a shallow pan and pour hot water around the filled pan till the water is about 1 inch in depth,makeing a water bath for the filled pan.Bake in a preheated 350* oven till a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean, about 45 min. to 1hour. Serve warm with additional maple syrup over it. Or your usuall pancake topping.

I like to serve this with bacon or sausage or both.
