Camera ONE is situated on the course at the first relay handoff point, near the 10k marker. Camera one goes live at race start and will run until about 8:00 am.

Camera TWO is situated on the course at the second relay handoff point, near the 15k marker. Camera two goes live at race start and will run until about 8:30 am.

Camera FOUR is situated on the course at the fourth relay handoff point, near the 30k marker. Camera four goes live at race start and will run until 10:30 am.

Road Runner Akron Marathon – Celebrating 5 Years!

Time Warner Cable is the title sponsor of the city’s largest outdoor event where over 80,000 spectators line the streets of Akron. Over 6,000 runners will participate in 26.2 mile event. On Saturday, September 29th, Broadway Avenue will be lined with runners and spectators at 7:00am for the start of the race. It is a thrilling experience you don’t want to miss!

There are some new elements to the marathon this year:

NEW ½ Marathon 13.1 miles – Starts at 7:00 am
Kids Area filled with fun & games on the concourse level at Canal Park Stadium

Time Warner Cable will have a booth at the John S. Knight Center In Akron, Ohio on Friday, September 28, 2007. The Health and Fitness Expo takes place from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and offers a wide variety of activities including:
